The delegate of Algeria in SPECPOL served as China’s top-tier fan. He supported (more than just support) China to such an extent that the committee feared he might’ve forgotten the name of his own country. He spoke in favor of China, more than whatever China had even uttered.
The delegate of Algeria loved his factual inaccuracies. Every GSL speech of his would serve as host to a million POIs, which he obviously failed to answer, starting with US and Chad’s POIs that served to be enough to break his frail confidence. The delegate stated, “Since China is a big country, they should get more land and have more needs economically and land wise”. Hopefully the delegate knows how to spell “contradiction”, they may not even understand the clumsy statement they made. Even after mentioning that China is a large country, with the second largest economy in the world, the delegate of China continued screwing up their own claims, refusing to feed the growing population and spending more on military “needs”.
Then he talks about China’s help to third world countries. Though China has given “aid” to countries such as Djibouti, Sri Lanka, Myanmar among others, China expects these countries to pay them back as loans with interest rates higher than the delegate of Algeria’s voice. Imagine calling them “aids” and not truthfully admitting that they are “loans”. It is evident that the delegate of Algeria really enjoys wasting time on "puppeting" for the delegate of China rather than focusing on the crucial issue at hand.
