The situations observed at the Historical Parliament of the British Empire were not out of the ordinary at first. The Ministers were proposing their plans and views on how the British Empire should move forward, facing deflation and unemployment.
When the discussions moved forward, one could observe a stark difference between the intended plans of the ministers. They were addressing whether funds be focused on military regrowth and expansion, or the welfare, and health of the people of Britain.
Talks emerged from ministers on the state of the colonies of British India, where Winston Churchill said, "We must maintain control of India" assuming clashes were prone due to the weakened state of the empire. Bailing of the Government of India Act, regaining of trust of the colonies, and improving land reforms were suggested by Anthony Eden to de-stress the the agitations in British India. "People are jobless", private investment must be delayed and government investment must be promoted, was the idea conveyed by David Lloyd George.
During the debates on how to increase employment rates, Most of the ministers discussed the need to promote infrastructure projects which include railways, construction, etc. At this point, Sir Samuel Hoare proposed that rearmament is imperative, and modernization of weapons is necessary. What an amazing way to improve unemployment! Most of the ministers followed each other's statement of infrastructure planning (construction, railways, schools, hospitals). None of them were raising any other solutions to solve the crisis faced by the common people!
Sir Stafford Cripps suggested that low-skill jobs be provided to the people and citizens of Britain, which was finally a rather different approach to tackle the employment issue.
However, Winston Churchill said after her speech replying to Herbert Morrison," Glory to the empire and blah, blah, blah". This further went on to the Provisional Speakers List (PSL) where the environment was rather violent, where ministers not participating in the open debate were booing, banging the tables and violently screaming. Serious talks by the 'FOR' ministers were adamant about bringing low-skill jobs for the people to provide maximum jobs without requiring much experience or skill. The 'AGAINST' ministers were too adamant, but in providing military education to the people to expand the army and the number, which could "cause mental distress in the military" as said by the 'FOR' side of the argument.
Military expansion and its funding is still a decision which is questionable because of its nature which doesn't affect the welfare of the people at all, and as long as Britain provides for the welfare of the people as a priority and keeps its military expansion as a secondary priority, the growth of the empire from the Great Depression may prevail.
