Iraq and Argentina: A duo set for doom?

After HICJ’s (horrible) start to the committee session, the new-born relationship between Iraq and Argentina seems to be more prominent than ever.

Firstly, Argentina states in his second (and LAST) GSL speech of the session that “the nation is the rightful owner of the Falklands as it should have been a gift from Spain”,  a statement based on an unsubstantiated allegation made by Argentina that they are the successors of Spain’s claim of land.  Isn’t it funny how the argument of the KEY stakeholder in the agenda hinges on 'could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve’  rather than using solid and RELIABLE information?

Unfortunately, this story doesn’t get any better. The delegate of Iraq decides to step in and start playing a role in the committee as well: the role of sucking up to Argentina in the facade of presenting “their views” on the issue. Meanwhile, you could hear Argentina confidently table-tapping with every word coming out of Iraq's mouth. Sadly, this was the only thing you could hear from Argentina as he decided to be mum as a mouse for the rest of the committee session.

Will Argentina decide to take action and speak up finally? Or will the delegate of Iraq have to continue being his spokesperson for the rest of the conference? Navamithra MS South China Morning Post

Call me "incompetent", have you lost your last 2 brain cells? You press delegates can't even quote someone accurately. If you had heared me correctly rather than slacking off(cause that is the only thing you guys are good at) you would have known that that is not what I siad. Atleast I had the courage to be a del and go speak infront the other delegates. We all know that only cowards go to press!!!!
