Model United Nations, more commonly known as MUN, is a simulation of the various decision making bodies around the world. Students take on the roles of diplomats from various countries or perhaps even act as politicians to tackle some of the most contentious issues known to us. Solution-centric, formal debate coupled with rigorous documentation drafting and the experiences and friendships that we acquire throughout an MUN conference are just some aspects of the world of MUN debate, which we at GIISMUN wish to allow students to explore in depth.

The Core of GIIS Model United Nations 2024 is more than ecstatic to announce that this year, we are celebrating a decade of unabashed passion, high-quality debate, and indelible memories. With a myriad of exciting committees, including the addition of some entirely new ones, we promise you an experience like none other. 

 

GIIS MUN has always been, and will continue to be the best platform to unleash the fierce, opinionated debater within you, honing your critical thinking ability by stepping into the shoes of global leaders to solve the issues plaguing our world today. As this year's core, we hope to carry forward this very spirit that has been carved into the previous editions of this event, and create an event that combines enjoyment and learning to create an unforgettable 3 days for every delegate at GIIS MUN 2024.
